    Yas Marina Circuit
    Landmark

    Yas Marina Circuit

Visit Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, home of the Grand Prix. Walk or cycle the 5.5 km track, tour the facilities or book a driving experience.

Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island is the home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with a 5.5 km track that you can see on a guided tour or experience on foot, by bike or in a high-performance car. Outside race events, scheduled fitness sessions let you walk, run or cycle around the circuit. After dark, the track lighting and marina setting make the visit especially atmospheric. For a closer look at the racing facilities, book a tour; for a faster lap, choose a driving or passenger experience.

A Grand Prix circuit open beyond race day

    Yas Marina Circuit

Yas Marina Circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the annual Formula 1 race on Yas Island. The track is about 5.5 km long and is known for its modern facilities and lighting after dark. The W Hotel was built over part of the circuit.

Race weekends bring spectators to the grandstands, where they can watch Formula 1 and other racing events. The venue also hosts motorsport activities and fitness sessions, so a visit does not have to revolve around a race.

Tours and ways to get on the track

A guided circuit tour lasts about 90 to 120 minutes. It travels between points of interest by air-conditioned bus and can include the pit garages, race control, media centre and paddock. The tour starts at Yas Central, where the Yas Racing School is located, and includes time to walk parts of the circuit and take photographs.

For a more active visit, scheduled sessions let you walk, jog or cycle on the track. TrainYAS has opened the 5.55 km loop to the public for fitness activities, with some sessions requiring registration. Check the current schedule before travelling, as track access depends on the session calendar.

    Driving experiences and race events

You can book experiences that put you behind the wheel of a high-performance car, including an Aston Martin GT4 or a Formula Yas 300. Passenger rides are another option for those who want to experience a fast lap without driving. Karting is available at Yas Kartzone.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the circuit’s headline event, but other races and activities also take place here. Event days have a different feel from a track tour or fitness session, with racing, spectators and more activity across the venue. Reserve tickets or experiences in advance, especially for popular dates.
