How this tool works
We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.
How we checkNo visa. US passport holders can enter Montenegro without a visa and stay up to 90 days.
The Government of Montenegro lists US nationals among those who may enter, pass through and stay up to 90 days with a valid travel document and no visa. A travel document counts as valid if it was issued within the last ten years and will not expire within three months of your planned departure. Montenegro is outside the Schengen area, so these days are counted separately from any Schengen stay. The US State Department's page (Last Updated September 17, 2026) is consistent with the above. It asks for a passport valid at entry and 1 blank page per stamp.
