How we check

No visa. Irish passport holders do not need a visa to enter Slovenia.

Irish citizens do not need a visa to enter Slovenia. Your passport must be valid for the length of your stay. If staying longer than 3 months, you must obtain a residence registration certificate from the Slovenian authorities. If staying at a private address, your host must register you with the local police within 72 hours; this is not necessary at a hotel or campsite.
