Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

NZeTA required. Irish passport holders need an NZeTA before visiting New Zealand.

Irish passport holders do not need a visa and may be granted a visitor permit for up to 90 days on arrival. Apply for an NZeTA through the official mobile app or website; it costs NZD $17 in the app or NZD $23 online, plus the NZD $100 IVL paid at the same time. Apply at least 72 hours before travel. Visitors must provide onward travel arrangements and evidence of funds.
