Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa or K-ETA. French passport holders can visit South Korea for tourism or temporary visits for less than 90 days.

French citizens are exempt from visas for tourist or temporary visits lasting less than 90 days. The temporary K-ETA exemption runs through December 31, 2026. Foreign visitors without a residence card must submit an entry declaration at immigration, either online up to 3 days before arrival or on paper at arrival; K-ETA holders are exempt. The online declaration is free.
