Do Spanish passport holders need a visa for South Korea?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa, no K-ETA until end 2026. Spain is on South Korea's temporary K-ETA exemption list.

Nationals of 22 countries and regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany and Spain, are temporarily exempt from the K-ETA until 31 December 2026 (KST), so you only need a passport. You can still buy a K-ETA to skip the paper arrival card. From 2027, check whether the exemption has been extended.
