Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. French passport holders can visit Georgia for up to 1 year.

French citizens are exempt from a visa for stays of up to 1 year. They must have an individual passport or secure national identity card valid for the entire stay. Visitors must have valid health and accident insurance for the whole stay, in English or Georgian, with coverage of at least 30,000 GEL. Border officers may check the purpose of the stay, funds, accommodation or invitation, return flight reservation, and onward travel guarantees when transiting.
