Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Kein Visum. German passport holders visit Nicaragua visa-free for up to 90 days, with a tourist card fee.

The Auswärtiges Amt says German citizens need no visa for stays of up to 90 days, but that a tourist card is required on entry and costs 10 US dollars at Managua airport. It also warns of entry refusals linked to social media posts, journalistic or development work, and political activity.
