Do Canadian passport holders need a visa for Palau?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa on arrival. Canadian passport holders are issued a tourist visa at the airport, valid for 30 days.

Travel.gc.ca lists a tourist visa as required but issued on arrival, with extensions beyond 30 days requested from Palau's Chief of Immigration for a fee. It asks for a passport valid at least 6 months beyond your departure, an online entry form within 72 hours of arrival, and says officers may ask for a return or onward ticket and proof of funds.
