Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Canadian passport holders visit New Caledonia visa-free for up to 90 days.

Travel.gc.ca lists a tourist visa as not required for stays up to 90 days, and says officials may ask for proof of accommodation, enough funds for the whole stay and a return or onward ticket. It asks for a passport valid at least 6 months beyond your departure, longer than the 3 months the UK and the tourism board quote, so use the stricter figure. New Caledonia Tourism says travel insurance covering medical expenses and emergency evacuation is mandatory for entry for most nationalities, so carry the policy details.
