Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

eTA required. Spanish passport holders need a Kenya eTA before the journey starts.

Every visitor, including children, needs an approved electronic travel authorisation before the journey starts unless Kenya's exemption lists cover them, and those lists do not include Spanish passports. Apply on etakenya.go.ke; the authorisation is not final permission, since admission is decided at the border. Spain's Foreign Ministry says Spaniards need no visa for tourism or business but must hold an eTA, valid for one entry, which can be requested up to three months before the trip.
