Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Austrian passport holders can visit Bosnia and Herzegovina for up to 90 days per 6 months.

No visa is required for up to 90 days per 6 months. Travelers need a passport or valid national ID card; the passport must be valid for 3 months after departure. On entry, travelers must have sufficient funds of BAM 150 per person per day. Tourists staying more than 3 days must register with the authorities within 48 hours of arrival; the fee is BAM 10, but hotels usually register guests automatically and usually free of charge.
