Do Canadian passport holders need a visa for Israel?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

ETA-IL required. Canadian passport holders do not need a visa for up to 90 days but must get an ETA-IL first.

Submit the application at least 72 hours before you arrive. You receive an entry card on arrival, which you need to enter the West Bank, and Canada advises avoiding non-essential travel to Israel and all travel to Palestine, so read the advisory before you book.
