Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

ETA-IL required. German passport holders do not need a visa for up to three months but must have an ETA-IL before they travel.

Airlines regularly check for the confirmation before departure, which you request on the Israeli government portal. With an ETA-IL, travel documents need to be valid only three months beyond the trip, and anyone previously expelled or refused entry must clear the case with an Israeli mission first.
