Do US passport holders need a visa for Albania?
Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.
How this tool works
We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.
How we checkNo visa. US passport holders can visit Albania without a tourist visa.
The US State Department's Albania page says a tourist visa is "Not required for U.S. citizens". Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months from your arrival date. It asks for one blank page per stamp. Plans to stay more than 1 year need a residency permit. Bringing in more than 1,000,000 lekë is not allowed, and taking out more than that needs a bank certificate.
