Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Irish passport holders do not need a visa to enter Austria.

Irish citizens need a valid passport or passport card. If staying in private accommodation for more than 3 days, travelers must register their residence with local authorities. Stays longer than 3 months require registration with the local migration authority within 4 months of arrival.
