Visit Estrella Falls in Narra, Palawan, for clear river pools, twin falls and shaded picnic spots. Swim only in the marked areas.

Estrella Falls is a forested swimming and picnic spot in Narra, Palawan, where water from Victoria Peak flows over a rocky ledge into clear pools. The twin falls are about 20 feet high, and the river continues downstream through smaller rapids and pools. Designated swimming areas, lifeguards, picnic tables and cottages make it easy to spend time by the water. The pool directly beneath the falls is closed to swimming because of dangerous undercurrents, so use the marked areas instead.

Trees shade the picnic areas, where you can spend time by the water and use barbecue facilities. Cottages are available along the riverside and hillside, and local stores sell drinks and snacks. The grounds also have parking and public restrooms.

Palawan long-tailed macaques roam around the park, including near walkways and the parking area. Keep food and valuables close rather than leaving them unattended. The falls are in Narra, away from the city, so plan transport before setting out.
