Do French passport holders need a visa for Morocco?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. French passport holders can visit Morocco for up to 90 days.

A valid passport must cover the entire planned stay. The page says that in exceptional cases, a stay beyond exactly 3 months (90 days) requires requesting an extension from Moroccan immigration, which cannot exceed a further 3 months. On arrival, travelers must have a return ticket and proof of sufficient means of subsistence. Check that border police have stamped the passport.
