Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

eVisa required. German passport holders need a visa for Saudi Arabia and can apply for a tourist e-visa online before travel.

The Foreign Office says a visa on arrival for tourism is also possible, but advises getting a visa in good time before departure. Pilgrimage visas for Hajj and Umrah are separate, and travel documents must be valid for at least six months at entry.
