The tower and its design
Bitexco Financial Tower stands in District 1, close to the Saigon River and Ben Thanh Market. Its 68 storeys and glass exterior give the downtown skyline a distinct modern landmark.
Architect Carlos Zapata drew inspiration from Vietnam’s national flower, the lotus. A projecting helipad on the 52nd floor is one of the building’s most recognizable details. The tower was completed in 2010.
