Dream World

Dream World is a theme park in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok.

Dream World is a theme park in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok. Its rides range from roller coasters and spinning attractions to gentler options for younger children, with water activities and an indoor snow area adding variety to a day out. The park is divided into themed zones, including Dream World Plaza, Fantasy Land and Adventure Land. You can also take a break from the rides for a live show or a meal, with Thai food and international choices available. Plan time to explore beyond the entrance area.

Four zones to explore

Dream World is in Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani province, around 38 kilometres north of Bangkok. The park is divided into Dream World Plaza, Dream Gardens, Fantasy Land and Adventure Land, with different rides and activities across the zones. Adventure Land is the largest area and is home to several of the more energetic attractions.

Dream World Plaza has a European-style main street. Elsewhere, themed scenery includes castles, gardens and landmarks designed as photo stops. The layout gives families room to mix rides with quieter walks and breaks. There is also a monorail for getting around the park.

Rides for different ages

The ride selection ranges from roller coasters and spinning rides to gentler attractions for children. Sky Coaster is a hanging coaster, while Tornado and Hurricane are among the park’s more intense options. A swinging Viking boat and a Flying Carpet add different kinds of motion for visitors who want more than a standard coaster.

For younger children, the Antique Car, sightseeing train and Thunderbird are among the gentler choices. Families can also find bumper cars and a haunted mansion. The mix means you can plan a visit around the ages and comfort levels of your group rather than spending the day on high-thrill rides alone.

Snow play and water rides

Snow Town brings sledding and snow play indoors, a striking change from the heat outside. The area has sleds and space for snow activities such as making snowmen. Pack warmer clothing for this part of the visit, especially if you plan to stay inside for a while.

Water attractions offer a different way to cool down. Super Splash is a water ride, and the park also has a wave pool and a water-play area with features such as a slider and tunnel fountain. Bring swimwear or a change of clothes if you intend to use the water facilities; sun protection and rain gear are useful for the outdoor areas.

Shows, food and a full-day visit

Live entertainment gives you a break between rides. Performances include the Hollywood Action Show, an animal show and the Colours of the World Parade. Check the day’s programme when you arrive so you can work a show into your route rather than crossing the park at the last minute.

Food stalls and restaurants serve Thai dishes as well as international options, and there is also a KFC restaurant. A buffet lunch is one way to pause for a meal during a longer visit. With rides, water activities, Snow Town and performances spread across the grounds, a visit can take half a day or extend to a full day if you want to cover more of the park.
