Lucas was born in Porto Alegre and moved to Buenos Aires in 2017. He has crossed the Andes by bus more times than by plane and writes about the practical side of South America: park booking systems in Patagonia, altitude, exchange rates that move faster than guidebooks, and the months when the south closes down.
