Green Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Warehouse 28 at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai. Its exhibitions bring together artists from the Middle East, Turkey and South Asia, working in traditional and newer media. The gallery’s programme is research-led, with work by artists from different generations. Its history stretches back to an earlier incarnation as Ornina, before it became Green Art Gallery in Dubai. The gallery began as Ornina, a small art space above a bookshop in Syria. It later moved to Dubai and became Green Art Gallery. In its earlier years in the city, it exhibited artists from the region, including some who later became widely known.
