Green World Coffee Farm is a working coffee farm and café in Wahiawa, central Oʻahu, on the drive toward the North Shore. Stop for complimentary coffee tastings, espresso drinks and a short walk among the coffee trees. The shop roasts coffee on site and stocks beans from farms across the Hawaiian islands, with ground and whole-bean options. It’s an easy break on a road trip, though the farm area is small, so plan for a quick visit rather than a long outing.
A coffee farm in Wahiawa

Green World Coffee Farm occupies seven acres in Wahiawa, central Oʻahu, with more than 3,000 Arabica coffee trees. The farm began in 2008, founded by Howard Green. Its land had previously been used for pineapple cultivation, and Green set out to bring it back into agricultural use with coffee.
The farm’s beans are not limited to its own trees. Green World also buys green coffee from farms on Maui, Molokai, Kauai and Oʻahu’s Waialua area. That range carries through to the shop, where coffees are sold whole or ground, alongside tea and locally made goods.
From coffee trees to the cup

A short path through the coffee plants gives you a look at where the crop grows. You can walk it on your own, or ask whether a staff member is available to explain more about the farm. The plants are only a small part of the visit, so this is a quick introduction rather than an extensive farm tour.
Green World roasts coffee on site. Free samples give you a way to compare some of the coffees before ordering a drink or choosing beans in the shop. The selection includes flavored coffees as well as Hawaiian-grown options. Small bags are available, which can be useful if you want to sample several varieties or take home a few gifts.
What to order and browse
The café serves coffee drinks, including iced coffee and espresso-based choices such as a caramel macchiato. On a warm day, a Mocha Freeze is another option. The menu also includes milk tea and shaved ice, so companions who are not in the mood for coffee have alternatives.
After ordering, take time to look through the retail area for coffee, tea and souvenirs. The farm’s outdoor space has mountain views, and chickens are also on the grounds. With its short garden walk, tastings and shop, Green World fits naturally into a drive around central Oʻahu, especially if you are heading toward the North Shore.
