Sobre nosotros
A travel guide built around facts you can check. Every price, rule and opening time shows the date it was checked, and every rule links to its source.
What we publish
Country and city guides, where-to-stay guides by neighborhood, itineraries, entry rules, side-by-side comparisons and gear guides. Each one answers a planning question: which area to book, how many days a place needs, which pass pays for itself, what the border asks for.
Alongside the guides there are free tools: a visa checker, a trip cost calculator, a plug and voltage checker, and a trip planner that puts your places on a map and orders each day.
What you can rely on
Facts carry dates. Prices, opening hours, taxes, fares and journey times show when they were last checked, so you can judge how fresh they are.
Rules link to their source. Entry requirements, fees and tourist taxes are taken from the government or operator that sets them, and the guide links to that page.
Guides are signed. Each one shows who wrote it, who reviewed it and when it was last updated, and ends with an update history that lists what changed.
Travel advisories from the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Germany are read every day and shown on the pages of the country they apply to.
What we leave out
We do not review a named hotel, restaurant or tour that nobody on the team has used. Where we have not, a guide describes the area, the type of place and the price band, and links to a search for your dates.
Price bands are rough guides to what a night or a ticket costs. They are not quotes, and the price on the booking page is the one that counts.
How it is paid for
Some buttons earn us a commission when you book or buy. They are red, they are marked as sponsored links, and they do not decide what a guide recommends. The How we make money page explains which links are paid and what we record when you press one.
Tell us what is wrong
Rules and prices change faster than any guide. If you find something out of date, the Contact page tells you how to reach us. Corrections are made on the page and listed in its update history.
