The observation deck is on the 65th floor of Lotte Center Hanoi, a 272-metre-tall building in Ba Dinh district. From here, the city spreads out in a 360-degree panorama. On a clear day, you can pick out rooftops and high-rises across Hanoi, with West Lake and the Old Quarter among the landmarks visible from the deck.

The Skywalk gives you a view through the glass floor to the streets below. If you plan to try it, check whether an additional charge applies before you go. Other places to explore include the Bamboo Road, the Sky Gallery and the View Terrace. Interactive maps help you orient yourself and identify parts of the city from above.

Photo areas include giant heart and angel-wing decorations, as well as the Love Photo Zone. Traditional Vietnamese outfits are available to rent for photographs. At one of the glass skydecks, an official photographer takes pictures for a fee; you can also take your own. The deck has additional attractions such as VR experiences, though the available activities may depend on your visit.

Choosing when to go

Late afternoon gives you a changing view: Hanoi in daylight, the sunset and then the city lights. The deck is also described as a place to see the illuminated skyline after dark. If the view matters most, check the weather and avoid hazy or rainy conditions, which can limit visibility.

Admission prices can change by time of day, with daytime visits reported as more expensive than evening visits. Check the current ticket details before you book, and confirm whether activities such as the glass-floor experience are included. Advance tickets are recommended. Weekdays have been described as quieter, which may suit visitors who would rather spend time at the viewing areas and photo spots without as many people around.
