The recreated interiors

HGTV bought and renovated the house, recreating the interiors to resemble the sets used for the series. Details include Alice’s bedroom, Greg’s attic apartment, the children’s rooms, Mike’s sunken drafting room and the floating staircase in the living room. The kitchen was recreated with orange Formica countertops.

Set details also refer to episodes and objects from the show, including Kitty-Karry-All dolls, a letter from Davey Jones to Marcia, a horse statue and the vase broken in an episode. These rooms are not currently open to the public, so visitors should not plan on an interior tour.
