The Arts Factory is a former warehouse at 107 E Charleston Blvd in downtown Las Vegas, now home to galleries, artist studios, shops and performance spaces. Its winding corridors lead past paintings, photography and multimedia work, with local artists sometimes on hand to talk about their process. Give yourself time to explore both levels, and check the event schedule for theatre, music or poetry. The monthly First Friday arts festival brings activity to the surrounding Arts District; individual studios may not all be open when you arrive.

Galleries and studios in a former warehouse

The Arts Factory

At 107 E Charleston Blvd, The Arts Factory brings galleries, studios, shops and performance spaces together in a former commercial warehouse. The building has a warehouse-style layout, with winding corridors and two levels to explore. Its colorful striped exterior mural, marked “Love Las Vegas,” makes the entrance easy to spot on Charleston Boulevard.

Inside, the work spans painting, photography, sculpture and multimedia. The galleries and hallways give you plenty to look at as you move through the building, while individual studios offer a chance to encounter artists’ work in a working setting. The spaces are independently run, so the selection and which studios are open can vary from one visit to the next.

Meeting local artists

The Arts Factory

The Arts Factory is a place to see creative work and, when artists are present, ask about how it is made. Artists and makers have studios here, and conversations can add context to the work on display. If that is a priority, avoid arriving early in the day: artists may not begin coming in until around noon, and some spaces may be closed on weekdays. Check with the venue before making a special trip to meet a particular artist.

You can also buy original art directly from local artists. The range of galleries and small shops means there is no single route through the building, so take your time with the corridors on both floors. The Arts Factory has a restroom, and its listed facilities include wheelchair-accessible entry and restrooms.

Performances and First Friday

Performance spaces add another reason to check what is happening before your visit. The Majestic Repertory Theatre is among the venues associated with the Arts Factory, with a programme that has included familiar musicals as well as newer productions. Music, poetry and theatrical events are also part of the wider arts calendar, so consult current event information for dates and tickets.

First Friday is a monthly arts festival in the surrounding Arts District, with music, performances, artists and street vendors. It can be a lively time to explore the area, but the festival does not guarantee every gallery or studio in the building will be open. Confirm the current schedule if you are planning around a particular event. Paid parking is available in a lot and on nearby streets.
