Grand Garden Arena is a live-event venue inside MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip. Its calendar spans concerts, comedy, award shows and major sporting events, so check the lineup to see whether an artist or event you want to catch is playing. Clear sound and views from seats across the arena make it a popular setting for performances. The venue is spacious and easy to navigate on arrival, but seats can feel hard during long shows, and leaving may take time when crowds head for the exits.
Events at MGM Grand
Grand Garden Arena hosts concerts, championship boxing and other major sporting events, along with award shows and music festivals. Its program covers a wide range of performers, from rock, country and rap to comedy and magic. Check the event calendar for the date of your visit, since the experience depends on what is scheduled.
Sound, seats and getting around
The arena is spacious and straightforward to navigate once inside. Attendees have noted clear sound at concerts and good views from seats at different points in the venue. Seating is hard plastic, and aisles can be narrow, so sitting for several hours may be less comfortable. A cushion can help if you expect a long event.
The venue has wheelchair-accessible entrances, restrooms and parking. It also has restrooms and on-site services.
Planning your arrival and exit
The arena is at MGM Grand, 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd. Arriving early gives you time to find your way around and sort out parking before the event begins. Parking is paid, and parking conditions can be busy, so check the event and MGM Grand details before setting out.
After a show, allow time to get out. Crowds may be directed toward a limited number of exits, and the walk through the hotel and casino areas can slow your departure. Plan your onward transport with that in mind.
