Rogers Arena

Rogers Arena is a downtown Vancouver venue for Vancouver Canucks hockey, concerts and other major events. The draw is the crowd’s energy, whether you’re watching a game or a live show, with a large video screen helping you follow the action. Inside, you’ll find food and drink stands, merchandise booths and comfortable seating. Hockey and live events

Rogers Arena opened in 1995 and is home to the Vancouver Canucks. During hockey season, from October to April, a game gives you a chance to see a sport closely tied to Vancouver’s local culture. The arena also hosts major concerts and other events throughout the year, drawing crowds for touring performers and live entertainment.

The type of event shapes the visit. A Canucks game centres on the action on the ice and the response from the crowd. At a concert, the arena becomes a large performance space, with sound and a giant video screen helping connect the show to seats across the venue.

Choosing a seat for hockey

The main seating areas include the plaza level, known as the 100 level, and the balcony level, known as the 300 level. The 200 level is the TD Executive Suite Level. Suites are also located on the 400 and 500 levels, which are called the Penthouse Level.

If you’re choosing a seat for a Canucks game, check the seating chart and the view from the section before booking. The Canucks’ bench is between sections 117 and 118, and the team attacks the goal in front of section 112 for two periods. The visiting team’s bench is between sections 116 and 117, and that team attacks the goal in front of section 122 twice. Seats directly behind either bench may have a partially blocked view when players and coaches are moving around.
