Several rooms, several sounds

1015 Folsom is a nightclub and live music venue in San Francisco’s SoMa district. Its multi-floor layout lets you move between rooms where different DJs play at the same time. The main room can be arranged differently for different events, so its setup and energy depend on the artist and night.

Electronic music is a central part of the program. Touring headliners share the bill with local DJs, and the room-by-room sound systems let you choose the music and atmosphere that suit you. If you arrive early, you may catch local artists before the headliner.

Choose an event before you go

The lineup changes by night, so check the event details before making plans. Thursday’s Throttle event is a choice for techno; Friday and Saturday also bring DJ events. Some nights have their own entry expectations, including a dress code for Saturday Pura Night, so read the specific event information before heading out.

The venue has several bars, and staff and security are present during events. The dance floors can be loud, so bring earplugs and take care of your hearing. If you want to avoid spending as long in line, arriving early is a practical move.
