The LINQ Promenade

The LINQ Promenade is an open-air pedestrian district on the Las Vegas Strip, between The LINQ Hotel and the Flamingo.

The LINQ Promenade is an open-air pedestrian district on the Las Vegas Strip, between The LINQ Hotel and the Flamingo. Shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues line the walkway, which leads to the High Roller observation wheel. Stop for a meal at In-N-Out Burger or Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, browse the stores, or catch a show at Brooklyn Bowl or Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy club. Fly LINQ zipliners pass overhead. It’s an easy place to fill a couple of hours, though the walkway can be crowded and lively at night.

The LINQ Promenade

The LINQ Promenade runs between The LINQ Hotel and the Flamingo, with the High Roller at its far end. The open-air walkway brings shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues together in a compact district. It is a place to stroll, browse and stop for a meal without needing to plan a separate route between each venue.

The walkway is pedestrian-only, and Fly LINQ sends riders overhead toward the High Roller. From the ground, the wheel is a clear landmark and a reason to walk the full length of the promenade. You can visit the district without buying a ticket to an attraction; rides and other activities are separate experiences.

Food, shops and entertainment

Dining ranges from quick counter-service food to sit-down restaurants. In-N-Out Burger and Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips are among the named options, alongside bars and other eateries. If you’re stopping for food, a quick bite is one possibility; you can also make a longer meal of it. Seating at In-N-Out can be hard to find when it’s busy, so factor that in if you’re visiting at a peak time.

The shops include candy and souvenir stores as well as smaller retail outlets. For entertainment, Brooklyn Bowl combines bowling with concerts and food, while Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy club is another venue in the district. The mix makes it possible to pair a walk or meal with a show, though the promenade itself can get crowded, particularly on weekend evenings.

The High Roller and when to go

The High Roller rises 550 feet above the Strip and gives riders a broad view of Las Vegas and the surrounding area. One full rotation takes about 30 minutes. The ride is a separate ticketed attraction, and the promenade is a convenient place to visit before or after it. Additional activities, including yoga classes and private events, are also available through the High Roller.

For a less crowded walk, choose a weekday or go earlier in the day. Evenings bring more activity, music and people along the route. If you’re driving, access to Strip-area parking can be confusing because road layouts and directions may change. One suggested approach to the Flamingo garage is via Flamingo Road and LINQ Lane.
