STRAT SkyPod

STRAT SkyPod is the observation deck atop The STRAT at 2000 S Las Vegas Blvd, with indoor and outdoor viewing areas high above the city. Head outside for open-air views, or take a seat indoors and look across the Las Vegas Strip and valley. The deck is also a launch point for rides including Big Shot, X-Scream and Insanity, which suit visitors who want more than a view. For a changing cityscape, arrive around sunset and stay as the lights come on.

Viewing the city from SkyPod

The SkyPod observation deck occupies the upper levels of The STRAT, at 2000 S Las Vegas Blvd. Indoor and outdoor areas give you different ways to take in the view. From the open-air deck, you can look out over Las Vegas and the surrounding valley; indoors, seating and a bar provide a place to pause between views.

Sunset gives you a chance to see the city in daylight and watch its hotel and casino lights appear after dark. The deck also works for daytime photos, though the open-air area can feel exposed in the heat. Allow time to look around from both the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Rides at the top of the tower

SkyPod is also home to rides for visitors seeking a more active stop. Big Shot launches riders upward, while X-Scream and Insanity take riders out over the tower’s edge. SkyJump is another high-adrenaline option associated with The STRAT. These attractions are separate from simply taking in the views, so check ticket options and ride availability before you go.

The tower has a bar and dining venues, including Top of the World, a revolving restaurant that completes one rotation every 80 minutes. Level 108 has 108 Eats for sandwiches, ice cream and cookies, as well as 108 Drinks for cocktails. These are options for adding a meal or drink to a visit, but the observation deck remains the main draw for anyone coming to see Las Vegas from above.
