Playa Las Galletas is a beach in the fishing village of Las Galletas, in Tenerife’s Arona municipality, about 15 km from Los Cristianos. Its dark volcanic sand and sheltered bay give you a quieter seaside stop, with clear water for swimming and a harbor used for water sports. Look for the small sandy stretch beside the harbor, and explore the nearby tapas bars and fish restaurants. Some parts of the shore have pebbles and rocks, so this is a better choice for a swim or a walk than for a full day of sunbathing.

The beach sits within a small bay, with natural pebbles as well as sand along the shore. Calm water makes swimming a good reason to stop, and the harbor is a starting point for water sports. A small sandy patch beside the harbor is another place to look for if you want a softer spot by the water.

The village has several small beaches, so you can explore beyond the main stretch. Around the port and on the back roads, you’ll also find tapas bars, fish restaurants and small shops.
