Mirador de Isora is a landscaped viewpoint on El Hierro’s east coast, in Isora. Its platforms sit at different levels, with views across Las Playas bay and Roque Bonanza. You can pause at the seating areas for a picnic, use the public toilets or walk down some of the steps. There are only a few parking spaces, and the turnoff can be hard to spot, so set your GPS before you set out.

Platforms above the east coast

The viewpoint is laid out across several levels, giving you different angles over the coastline. Las Playas bay and Roque Bonanza are among the landmarks visible from here. The coastline and beaches below are easier to admire from above than to reach on foot.

A pause on the island drive

Seating areas make this a practical place to stop for a picnic, and there are public toilets on site. Some trailheads begin near the viewpoint, and steps lead down from the platforms. Parking is limited, and unclear signs can make the approach harder to find.
