Iglesia del Triunfo is a chapel connected to Cusco Cathedral, at Triunfo 373 beside the city’s main cathedral complex. Its high vaulted ceiling gives the interior a spacious feel, while religious figures, a beautiful altar and Cusco art reward a closer look. The chapel is also a burial place for notable Peruvians, including the writer Garcilaso de la Vega. It has fewer furnishings than some nearby churches, but its history and place within the cathedral make it a worthwhile stop on a cathedral visit.
