An estate founded in 1899

Two men from Piedmont founded Sella & Mosca in 1899. The estate later supplied vines around the world after phylloxera, before going on to produce its own wines. Today, more than 550 hectares of vines stretch across the Alghero area.
The landscape includes Mediterranean scrub, oleander, maritime pine, palms and eucalyptus. These plants and the coastal setting are associated with herbal and saline qualities in the wines.
