Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach is a laid-back stretch of San Diego coastline at 1484 Pescadero Dr, with a boardwalk for walking and cycling, surfers to watch and shops and restaurants nearby. The pier is a landmark, though access has been restricted at times after storm damage or for maintenance, so check its status before planning a walk out. At low tide, look for tide pools just south of the pier. For sunset, the shoreline and pier area make a scenic place to pause.
