Among its historic objects are a 1481 gradual from the church of Santa Maria di Gesù, a 17th-century altar frontal embroidered with gold and silver thread and beads, a 17th-century processional cross, and a silver-foil Immaculate Conception.

The Caravaggio paintings

Room 10 holds two of the museum’s most prominent works: Caravaggio’s The Raising of Lazarus and The Adoration of the Shepherds. Make this room your first stop if these paintings are the main reason for your visit, then continue through the chronological displays.
