Mia and Tom Reyes

Mia and Tom Reyes write together and live on the east coast of Bali. They cover beaches, dive sites and small island stays in Indonesia and the Philippines, and they care about the unglamorous parts: which ferry is the one that actually runs, where the reef is closest to shore, and which beach goes from calm to rough with the season. Mia is the planner and Tom is the one who reads dive-shop contracts. They like simple beach huts, a good grilled fish and a boat with a sensible captain. They travel as a pair, pay their own way, and write for people who want a week on the water without a spreadsheet.
