Cala Llenya is a sandy beach on Ibiza’s northeast coast, near Santa Eulària des Riu. Pale, fine sand and clear, calm water make it a good choice for a family swim or a quiet stretch of beach. Lifeguards, a beach bar and rentable sunbeds add convenience, and windsurfing and pedal boats are available. Pine forests and red cliffs frame the cove. For a quieter outing, nearby rocky coves offer a change of scenery and better snorkelling conditions.
Water sports and the nearby coves
Windsurfing and pedal boats are available at Cala Llenya. The beach is about 200 metres long, with a southern end around 60 metres wide.
For a different coastline, a walk of about an hour from Es Canar passes several rocky coves. These smaller, stony spots can bring more quiet and better snorkelling than the sandy beach.
