Cala Greca is a very small cove on Lampedusa’s south coast, reached through the La Roccia campsite.

Cala Greca is a very small cove on Lampedusa’s south coast, reached through the La Roccia campsite. The inlet sits between steep, bare headlands, with agave and purple flowers along the rocks and warm water below. Its beach is tiny, but the cove’s colours are striking from above and the setting can feel quiet. Reaching the shore means walking over uneven, rocky ground, and space for visitors without rented loungers is limited. Come for the scenery and a swim, not a roomy stretch of sand.

Cala Greca

The route to the beach passes through the La Roccia campsite and over rocky ground around the inlet. The shore is small, so there is little room for visitors who do not rent loungers and an umbrella. Arriving after 5pm can help you avoid that constraint.

Cala Galera is another nearby cove, reached by way of rocky gullies on the water.
