Ballpark Village

Ballpark Village is a dining and entertainment district across from Busch Stadium at 601 Clark Ave in downtown St. Louis. Its restaurants, bars and open plaza make it an easy place to meet before or after a Cardinals game, or to watch sports on large screens without a stadium ticket. You can also find public displays that include parts of the original stadium, outdoor seating, games and occasional live music. On game days, plan to arrive early if you want a meal before the event; quieter visits are easier on non-game days.

A district across from Busch Stadium

Ballpark Village sits across the street from Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. The district brings restaurants, bars and entertainment into one spot, with indoor venues and an outdoor plaza. It draws fans before and after games, but sports screens and places to eat also make it a downtown stop beyond baseball season.

Public areas include displays made with parts of the original stadium. For a break between meals or games, the plaza has outdoor seating and activities. Live music sometimes takes place there, and the outdoor setup is more useful when the weather cooperates.

Choosing a place to eat or watch

The district has several restaurants and bars, so you can make a quick stop for a drink or settle in for a meal. The menu items noted here include nachos and a chicken sandwich, alongside beer and cider. Katie’s Pizza and Pasta is another option; its homemade ravioli is a specific dish to look for.

Large screens show sports, and the plaza and venues can get busy around Cardinals games. If you are planning to eat before an event, leave at least 90 minutes to find a table and have your meal. A non-game day is a better fit if you want more room to explore the district at a relaxed pace.
