The mini city lets children try everyday roles through play, including activities connected with shopping, work and making choices. Other exhibits explore movement and energy, healthy food, farming and trains. Water play brings together sound and ideas about how water moves, while building activities give children room to make and test their own creations.

The activities can suit children with different levels of interest: some are simple to try, while others offer more to explore. Displays are available in Italian and English.

Planning your visit

Visits run in timed sessions lasting 1 hour 45 minutes. Reserve a ticket ahead of time, then begin upstairs: that level closes 15 minutes before the lower floor. The visit is self-guided, so families can move between activities at their own pace during the session.

There is a small outdoor playground, as well as toilets and drinking water. Eating space is limited, and leaving the museum means you cannot return during the same session, so plan food around your visit.
