On Dufferin Terrace in front of Château Frontenac, this Parks Canada kiosk is the starting point for guided walks along Québec City’s fortifications. The tours pair local history with access to parts of the defensive works that are not open to visitors otherwise. They suit anyone who wants context for the city’s historic sites, with guides leading the route and sharing stories as you walk. Expect some uphill sections; ask kiosk staff for directions if you are also looking for the archaeological site entrance.
